Privacy notice
Last updated . This explains what does with your information. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you send a form. Your name, email address, phone number, details about your vehicle and whatever you write in the message box. We use it to reply, quote, book the work and keep a record of what we did to your car.
When you use the quote builder. Nothing. Your selections stay in your browser and in the page's web address. They are only sent to us if you go on to submit a booking request.
When you just browse. Our host records standard server logs, including your IP address, for security and to keep the site up. We don't build profiles from them.
What we don't do
- No analytics or visitor-tracking scripts.
- No advertising or social media pixels.
- No cookies set by this website.
- No selling or renting of personal information, ever.
The fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when a page loads.
Form submissions pass through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a service that takes what you typed and emails it to us. It sees the contents of the form on the way through. We chose it because it needs no account and stores nothing we asked it to keep; we do not use it for anything else. If you would rather not use it, call or text us instead — the number is on every page, and it reaches the same two people.
Google Fonts and FormSubmit are the only third parties involved in this website.
Photographs of your car
We photograph the interior of every vehicle we work on. Those photographs are your condition report and our record of the job. We may use them publicly to show our work, with number plates, VINs, documents and personal belongings excluded or obscured. Ask us not to and we won't — it makes no difference to the work or the price.
How long we keep things
Enquiries that don't become bookings: up to 12 months. Booking records: as long as we need them for our own accounts. Photographs of your car: kept as our record of the job, and deleted on request unless we still need them to settle a disagreement about it.
Who else sees it
The two of us, our email provider, our website host and FormSubmit (which carries the form to our inbox) — and that is genuinely it. We do not share your details with anyone else and we have never sold them.
One thing worth saying plainly: we are both 16, and a parent or guardian helps us run the business side. That means they may see booking messages and addresses. Nobody else does.
Your choices
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — subject to records we are legally required to keep. Email and we will deal with it within 30 days.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU GDPR. Contact us either way and we will honour whichever applies to you.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
